Research, not a hardware test. The requirements come from Steam and GOG; the Steam Deck status comes from Valve’s compatibility report. No PC, Deck or PCVR benchmark was performed by this site.
Versions
- Steam: single-player, achievements, full controller support, VR supported, family sharing.
- GOG: DRM-free, flat and VR in the same build; its store arrival was 16 April 2026, not the original Steam launch date. Check the regional checkout price.
- PCVR headsets named by Steam: Valve Index, Quest via link, Rift S, Rift.
- Steam Deck: Playable. The caveat on the report is that interface text is not legible.
- Minimum flatscreen spec: Windows 10, i7-6700K, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1070, 18 GB storage. No official recommended tier.
UploadVR ran PCVR on an RTX 4070 Ti Super at Epic settings with a Quest 3 over Steam Link. That is one reviewer’s PC, not a requirement. Fixes for black screens, controllers and DLSS are on the troubleshooting page.
