Standards

Editorial policy

A sentence is published as fact only when a named source says it. Store prices are snapshots. Puzzle steps that guides disagree on are omitted instead of guessed.

These standards describe a source-based guide, not a claim of actual playtesting. Store and studio references take priority for official facts; unresolved puzzle orders, credits and performance figures should be marked uncertain rather than invented.

Sources, in order

  1. Steam, GOG, PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop for price, date, languages and requirements.
  2. Published walkthroughs for chapter beats. A step needs more than one guide when the first one looks incomplete.
  3. Metacritic and the review it quotes for scores. This site does not invent a user average.
  4. Wikipedia for awards and the film announcement, traced back to the news post when the date matters.

Each guide page ends with the links that were open on the check date. The check date is 22 October 2026 unless a later edit changes that page’s updatedAt.

What we will not do

Corrections go to [email protected]. A fixed sentence keeps the new date on that page.

Advertising and editorial independence

The site carries Adsterra Native Banner and Social Bar advertising. Paid ad creatives are separate from guide text, source citations and official purchase links; their appearance is not an endorsement. Advertising must not determine a guide's factual claims or store ordering. Third-party loading and Reject are described in the privacy policy and Cookie settings.

Questions

Why do some prices say “snapshot”?

Steam, the eShop and limited physical runs change. The page records the day the number was read.

Do you accept paid placement?

Display advertising is carried through Adsterra. It is separate from editorial store ordering and recommendations; guide purchase links point to official stores. An advertisement is not an editorial recommendation.
