Characters

You play the Burnt One and travel with Potboy, a largely non-verbal lantern creature. Housy is the walking house and collection hub. The cast below includes companions and chapter figures, not just enemies. Some role descriptions contain story spoilers.

Source-based research, not a personal playthrough. Roles come from official descriptions and published guides; voice credits are identified as credit transcriptions, not guessed from how a voice sounds.

Figures tied to a chapter

Nobodyville has the Headmaster and the Old Man. Coalhaven's Thief is reconstructed through the leg, arm and skull quests; its story ghost is released through a furnace-and-match sequence, not simply by closing your eyes at a hostile red eye. The Moonbird, Groundskeeper, Craftsman and Princess belong to later story encounters. The Dark Itself is a story threat, not a conventional health-bar boss.

Credited voices

Selected English roles from MobyGames' credit transcription, corroborated where available by cast listings. Not an exhaustive end-credit reproduction.

A non-verbal character can still have a credited voice performer: Potboy's vocalisation credit does not establish a set of spoken dialogue lines. Steam lists English as full audio and the other supported PC languages as text; platform language lists should be checked separately.

Questions

Does Potboy talk?

Potboy is presented as a largely non-verbal companion, but Olov Redmalm is credited for his vocal performance. Non-verbal does not mean unvoiced.

Who narrates The Midnight Walk?

Ty Konzak is credited as narrator. The narrator page separates that role from the writer and the Soulfisher.

Is Housy a monster?

No. Housy is the walking house you use as a base. Hostile creatures are listed on the monsters page.
